MOMS Club® of Brooklyn, CT
Welcome to the the Brooklyn MOMS Club (MOMS Offering Moms Support). We are a local chapter of the International MOMS Club® ; which is non-profit organization providing support for those moms staying at home. Our local chapter is open to those MOMS living in the Brooklyn and Pomfret areas of Connecticut. .
We meet monthly for our Monthly Social. At our Monthly Socials we discuss our on-going service projects, new activity groups or sometimes have a guest speaker. We always have a craft designed for the children for them to enjoy. And we always have a good time!! Please contact us for the location of the meeting.
Please join us if you are interested in joining our club. Or if you would like someone to contact you with more information, please e-mail us. Our dues are $20/year which covers room rentals, craft supplies and activities.
MOMS Club Goals and Principles
Goals:
** To provide a support group for mothers who choose to stay at home to raise their children
** To provide a forum for topics of interest to mothers
** To help children in the community
** To perform at least one service project yearly helping needy children
Principles:
** That women must be free to choose their personal path to fulfillment
** That, for women who choose it, raising children is an important and fulfilling full-time job
** That a family's decision for a mother to stay at home to raise the children often involves considerable financial sacrifice
** That there is no one right way to raise children, but our members have a common concern in raising their children in a healthful way
